Tina Ho, LMFT
Licensed Therapist | Guide Behavioral Health
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (#TBD)
Tina Ho brings warmth, clinical thoughtfulness, and a deep sense of calm to her role as a therapist at Guide Behavioral Health. A Bay Area native, Tina has always been drawn to the diversity, creativity, and natural beauty of the region. Her curiosity about human behavior and what drives us—especially in times of stress, transition, and growth—led her to pursue a career in mental health. She began her work in the field in 2019 and has remained grounded in the belief that healing is possible when people are met with compassion, consistency, and care.
Tina earned her undergraduate degree from San José State University and her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University. Her clinical approach is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and the creation of a safe, nonjudgmental space where teens and families can explore challenges openly. She is especially passionate about working with adolescents and young adults, appreciating their honesty, resilience, and potential for change. For Tina, helping teens build the skills to move through life with greater confidence and self-awareness is one of the most rewarding parts of her work.
Clients and colleagues often describe Tina as thoughtful, grounded, and deeply attuned. She integrates trauma-informed care with a relational, strengths-based perspective—meeting teens where they are and helping them uncover their capacity to adapt, connect, and thrive. Whether supporting someone through anxiety, school-related stress, identity exploration, or relational struggles, Tina brings presence, patience, and trust in the therapeutic process.
Outside of her work, Tina finds joy in the small things: trying new restaurants, cooking for friends, reading, and getting out into nature. She enjoys hiking, mindful nature walks, and quiet moments that help her recharge and reflect. A fun fact? Tina loves pandas—and her enthusiasm for them is matched only by her commitment to helping teens feel seen, supported, and empowered.
